Dr. Attila Szabo, an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon, began his career in 1988 at Semmelweis Medical School, Budapest. His early exposure to orthopaedic medicine inspired his specialization. Moving to Johannesburg in 1991, he became a specialist orthopaedic surgeon at WITS University in 2000. His interest in spinal disorders sparked in Johannesburg, working with spinal surgery pioneer Dr. Leonard Nainkin. In Cape Town, he opened a private practice and completed a Spine Surgery Fellowship at Groote Schuur Hospital. Dr. Szabo is a member of several esteemed spinal societies, demonstrating his profound commitment to his field.
