Reimagining Spinal Care: Neurospine's Comprehensive Approach
At Neurospine, we understand that back and neck pain can significantly impact your quality of life. That's why our dedicated team of professionals is committed to providing leading care for degenerative spinal diseases. Our specialized services are designed to alleviate discomfort and restore functionality, paving the way for a pain-free future.
Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Our team is well-versed in employing the latest techniques to ensure efficient and minimally invasive treatment. These procedures entail smaller incisions, leading to faster recovery times, reduced post-operative pain, and minimised risk of complications. Our key minimally invasive procedures include:
- Tubular Microdiscectomy/Microdecompression: Minimally invasive surgery where paraspinal muscles are preserved by dilating through them with a series of tubes followed by decompression of entrapped nerves with microsurgical techniques.
- Transformaminal Endoscopic Spine Surgery: This surgery requires an 8mm incision and can be done with local anaesthesia and some conscious sedation.
- Interlaminar Endoscopic Spine Surgery: We employ endoscopic techniques to remove bone or disc material that may be compressing the nerves within the spinal canal.
- Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic Spine Surgery: Using two portals—one for the endoscope and another for the surgical instruments—we can address a range of spinal conditions with less muscle damage and faster recovery.
Advanced Spinal Procedures
In addition to our minimally invasive techniques, we offer a range of advanced surgical procedures to cater to more complex spinal conditions:
- Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF): This procedure focuses on addresing the 3 main pain generators in lower back pain: The disc, the nerve, and the facet joints. A spinal segment is decompressed and then fused in a 360 degree fashion to provide stability with the ultimate goal of relieving pain.
- Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion/Disc Replacement: These procedures relieve pressure on the nerve roots or spinal cord in the neck, addressing symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness. As an alternative to a fusion we also offer disc replacement therapy in certain cases to preserve motion.
- Cervical Tubular Foraminotomy: We remove a portion of the foramen—the opening where nerve roots exit the spinal canal—to relieve pressure on the nerves and alleviate symptoms.
At Neurospine, we make it our mission to guide you on a journey toward pain-free living. Our patient-centric approach ensures that every step—from diagnosis to treatment and recovery—is tailored to your individual needs.
